I am just finished (hopefully) with layout comps for a web site revamp. I am pretty stoked on how it turned out. We didn’t do the branding so I had to take an existing logo and create something around it.
I really enjoy the challenge of creating something that melds with another person’s work (the logo in this case). Hopefully the site integrates the boldness of the logo well, I think it does.
Now I will devote myself to pray that the client sees it the same way I do. It’s always super discouraging when you do something you like and then have design-retarded clients decide they want to meddle. This is actually what I dislike the most about my job. If you isn’t a chef then stay out o the kitchen!
BTW: I don’t have any interaction with this client so I am not talking about them.
