Did you know you can copy an image, say a logo, from a PDF and keep a transparent background? I suppose anyone involved in printing and most web developers already know this but I didn’t.
It’s actually not copying at all. Just open the PDF file in Photoshop, Illustrator and I imagine most other graphics applications. I am guessing this only works when the original graphic embedded in the PDF doesn’t have a background.
